Solos Lola is an initiative of a group of Venezuelan women, residing in Spain, that arises from the need to help patients with breast cancer in Venezuela, where mortality from this cause has increased more than 20% in the last 5 years.
This humanitarian aid project has been accelerated by the global health emergency caused by COVID-19, where the diagnosis and treatment of other life-threatening diseases has been affected, to this is added the precarious situation in which Venezuela finds itself , where 96% of households do not cover their basic needs.
Unidos en Red, a foundation registered in Madrid, Spain, NIF: G84596022, serves as a platform for the receipt, administration and accountability of the funds raised with the #SomosLola campaign.
