Due to the modernization of daily activities, natural resources are overexploited to satisfy the needs of users and, consequently, the energy demand has increased, causing a high environmental impact. One way to take advantage of resources in a sustainable way to produce clean and renewable energy is through hydroelectric power.
Given this and to promote learning and acquisition of skills/knowledge among the population, Fundación Carlos Slim, through its Capacítate para empleo platform, offers the course “Hydroelectric energy for self-consumption”, whose objective is for participants to learn the bases for designing and Install a hydroelectric system to power a home.
Through this training, students will learn to:
- Review the necessary elements to analyze your environment and determine the best alternative to develop a hydroelectric project.
- Develop risk activities.
- Perform complex calculations and carefully analyze the data to design a viable and effective project.
