The ONCE Foundation supported the work of 954 associations of people with disabilities in 2021, thanks to the various calls it launched over the past year with the aim of strengthening and promoting the fabric of social entities whose purpose is to improve quality of life of people with disabilities.
In this way, the 954 organizations of people with disabilities will be able to develop 1,375 projects that focus on employment, training and the elimination of architectural and social barriers. In total, 1,725 projects were submitted.
For the 2022 financial year, the ONCE Foundation will have a budget of 108 million euros, 60% of which will be allocated to promoting the training and employment of people with disabilities and 40% to actions aimed at programs of universal accessibility.
