Once again, the Valencia Club de Fútbol (Valencia CF) has shown its commitment and solidarity by inviting FEDER to participate in the act of the ‘ADN Mestalla Solidari’ initiative, with which the Club wants to give a voice to NGOs and associations during the meetings sports that take place in your stadium.
The unique setting of Mestalla has served in this way to make visible the reality of those who live with a rare disease and reiterate from the club the support for our group, which has been present on the pitch of the stadium before the start of the match along with the rest of charitable entities to receive the affection of all the Valencian fans.
In this way, the Orange Trophy match in which Valencia CF faced Atalanta BC on Saturday, August 6, became an act of commitment and solidarity.
In addition, Valencia CF has wanted to share this emotional meeting with patients and their families, providing tickets so that they can attend the meeting and, of course, also be protagonists of it.
Valencia CF and FEDER
Valencia CF, through its Foundation, reached a collaboration agreement in 2021 with the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases, FEDER, to give visibility to the more than three million people who live with a rare disease in this country.
This agreement was also part of the 15th anniversary of the FEDER Foundation and demonstrated Valencia C.F’s support for research into rare diseases.
With this alliance, Valencia CF and its Foundation join FEDER’s objective of being the spokesperson for all those people who suffer from rare diseases, this being a pioneering agreement between the entity and a football club.
Already at the time, Juan Carrión, president of FEDER and its foundation, highlighted the importance of the agreement “we joined in this great alliance to highlight the importance of research to improve the future of three million people and 300,000 Valencians who live with these rare diseases.
