The Carlos Slim Foundation promotes self-care in later life with free guides

Through the Aprende.org and ClikiSalud.net platforms, the Carlos Slim Foundation offers the “Tu Salud” Manuals free of charge—educational materials designed to promote healthy habits throughout the different stages of life.

The edition aimed at people aged 40 to 69 encourages readers to pay closer attention to their physical and mental health during middle age. Its content was developed in collaboration with specialists from various fields of health and is presented in a clear, accessible, and reader-friendly style for the general public.

The manual provides guidance on development, nutrition, hygiene, and health, as well as goals, habits, myths, and realities. This content aims to promote self-care and risk prevention through conscious changes in attitudes, behaviors, and daily practices.

We are pleased to highlight the work of an organization in our network that uses education and technology to make health tools accessible to more people. This contribution reminds us that prevention begins with reliable information and small decisions that can strengthen well-being throughout life.
