Carlos Slim Foundation delivered 6.5 tons of humanitarian aid

The Carlos Slim Foundation, in alliance with TELMEX and Telcel, sent 6.5 tons of humanitarian aid to be distributed among inhabitants of the municipality of Múzquis who are facing severe flooding due to the intense rains that affected the state of Coahuila, in Mexico. The aid sent consists of:

1,000 pantries
1,000 mats
1,000 covers
2,025 gallons of drinking water
Likewise, two water purification plants were put into operation to guarantee the supply of liquid among the population.

The aid was delivered directly to the affected population with the support of volunteers and specialized personnel from TELMEX, who work in coordination with state and municipal authorities and the Mexican Army.

In this way, the Carlos Slim Foundation, TELMEX and Telcel reaffirm their commitment to support the population that needs it most in the event of natural disasters.
