Investigadores de IrsiCaixa

IrsiCaixa researchers, among the most relevant in the world in the scientific field

The director Bonaventura Clotet and the main researcher Roger Paredes are the IrsiCaixa professionals who appear in the list as relevant scientific figures worldwide.

The Can Ruti Campus and the healthcare and research team of the different institutions that make it up, including IrsiCaixa, continue to prove, once again, to be a relevant node on a global scale in terms of production and scientific progress.

In this sense, about thirty recognized professionals – from the IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute, the Hospital and the Hermanos Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP), the Fight Against Infections Foundation and the Josep Leukemia Research Institute Careers (IJC) – have been included in the global list of scientific personnel who achieve greater impact through their publications and citations.

This is the new and latest update of the Scopus database from Elsevier, a global publisher in the world regarding Medicine and Health Sciences. The list includes some 200,000 authors – representing 2% of the scientific staff on the entire planet – who are recognized in two classifications: according to their entire scientific career and according to their impact during the past year.

Regarding his entire career, the list includes the director of IrsiCaixa Bonaventura Clotet.

Regarding the influence of his work during the year 2022, Bonaventura Clotet repeats on the list, but also includes the name of IrsiCaixa’s principal researcher Roger Paredes.
