PVBLIC FOUNDATION and UNOOSA create an alliance to apply space technology to sustainable development

Within the framework of the UN General Assembly, the PVBLIC Foundation and the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote the use of space technologies for sustainable development. The partnership aims to apply space-derived innovations to address challenges such as environmental resilience, disaster response, food security, health, and digital inclusion, particularly in emerging economies. PVBLIC will collaborate with UNOOSA in mobilizing resources, incorporating partners, and structuring funding to ensure long-term programs, including education and cooperation under multilateral governance. Both organizations will also work on global communication strategies to raise awareness about the potential of space in achieving the SDGs.

This collaboration combines UNOOSA’s technical expertise with PVBLIC’s ability to mobilize capital and strategic communication, creating scalable projects that promote innovation, equality, and social justice.
