These are the Latin American countries with the highest number of deaths in the region

With more than 90 million cases around the world and almost 2 million deaths, the covid-19 pandemic is nonstop in its second year. And in Latin America things are no better, with two of the four countries on the planet with the highest number of deaths in the region.

According to figures from Johns Hopkins University, the ten Latin American countries with the highest number of deaths from coronavirus are:

  • Brazil
  • Mexico
  • Colombia
  • Argentina
  • Peru
  • Chile
  • Ecuador
  • Bolivia
  • Guatemala
  • Panama
