At Unidos en Red we are celebrating. In our anniversary month, we mark 14 years of uninterrupted work, of shared stories, and of partnerships that have become bridges for transforming lives. Fourteen years in which we have shown that when many wills come together with a common purpose, the impact multiplies.
From our very first steps, we had a clear conviction: when organizations unite with trust and purpose, the impact grows beyond imagination. That spirit has accompanied us in every project, every partnership, and every connection we have fostered alongside our network.
Throughout this journey, we have discovered that technology not only brings us closer together, it allows us to meet, share knowledge, and work side by side from different parts of the world. Thanks to this, our community has grown without borders, with a common goal: that no one is left out of the opportunities they deserve.
In 2019, we took a significant step with the merger between Unidos en Red and the Santos Toledano Foundation, integrating their administrative, operational, and legal structure into the global work of our organization. This union strengthened our presence in Spain and consolidated a shared vision that combines decades of humanitarian and educational work.
That same process of expansion also allowed us to strengthen our presence in the United States with the creation of Unidos2Give, a platform that enhances cooperation from within the country and increases our capacity to mobilize international support for social projects throughout Ibero-America, marking a milestone in formalizing our presence in North America.
Today, we continue to move forward with our sights set on Goal 17 of the 2030 Agenda, convinced that partnerships are the key to transforming the major challenges of our region into shared opportunities. Governments, businesses, academia, civil society, and communities: we are all part of the fabric that makes a more just and inclusive development possible.
This collaborative spirit is what inspires our motto, The Power of Many in Action!, which reflects the energy and strength that arise when multiple stakeholders decide to combine their talents to generate profound and sustainable change.
Celebrating 14 years means celebrating every project, every partner organization, every volunteer, every community leader, and every person who has believed in this mission. It means celebrating those who have joined, who have contributed their knowledge, effort, and heart to unite thousands and develop millions.
