The objective of this call is to identify and promote the most promising initiatives, of greater scientific excellence and of greater potential value and social impact, both in basic research and in clinical or translational research.
The projects presented must be framed in the following thematic areas: Neurosciences, Oncology, Cardiovascular and related metabolic diseases, Infectious diseases, Enabling technologies in the four previous thematic areas.
Project proposals must have a duration of up to 3 years of execution and can be:
Individual: submitted by a single research organization (applicant organization).
In research consortium: presented by a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 research organizations, coordinated by the applicant organization.
Both types of proposals can include non-profit civil society organizations such as patient associations. Incorporated companies cannot be part of the project as collaborating entities.
They will be awarded between: 500,000 – 1,000,000 euros
