The opportunity aims to support projects of global, social and environmental interest, particularly those that have a significant impact on the lives of the disadvantaged.
Each program has its own funding criteria, geographic scope, and requirements. Although they operate an invitation-only application process, OAK wants to hear ideas and work that fit with their program strategies. Therefore, if an organization believes there is strong alignment with the Oak Foundation’s funding priorities, they recommend submitting a letter of inquiry.
They do not provide support for:
- Individuals
- Scholarships or tuition assistance for undergraduate or graduate studies
- Religious organizations for religious purposes
- Electoral campaigns
