Initiatives or studies that have been launched in the course of the previous year 2020 or that are in the process of being implemented in 2021 may participate.
The award is aimed at educational centers, university research teams, non-profit organizations and / or foundations. This first edition of the award is made up of two themes:
The first, with a focus on innovation in digital skills, will focus on recognizing projects or research that, among other aspects, incorporate digital tools in early childhood work in the classroom, as well as creative, critical and safe use. technology, or related to teacher training in skills linked to technologies in this early formative stage.
For its part, the second theme on innovation focused on inclusion will reward projects or research related to the promotion of diversity and work with vulnerable groups of exclusion or that consider the barriers to participation and communication of students with disabilities or other languages.
Likewise, initiatives that apply theoretical and practical knowledge – supported or not by ICT – on issues of peace and world citizenship with a focus on social justice, democracy, gender equality, immigration, valuation of identity and cultural diversity will be able to participate. The jury, made up of expert staff from the convening organizations, academics and specialists in the area, will choose in March next year the best initiative presented in each of the categories.
Up to 3,000 euros will be awarded. Final date for applications: January 19, 2022.
